Here Are The New ‘Destiny 2’ Iron Banner God Rolls You Should Be Hunting

Iron Banner is back in Destiny 2 and better than ever and no I am not being sarcastic. Its new mode, Eruption, is generally seeming to be a big hit among players, at least more than Rift was, and more than many years of Iron Banner Control before that.

While we are starving for some new Iron Banner gear this season, the game has brought back two distinct weapons this time around, and thanks to Iron Banner engram focusing, the mode is no longer a chore to farm at the same level it was before. It’s still not amazing, but it’s miles better than relying on random drops and token spam.

Here are the two new Destiny 2 Iron Banner weapons as of this season, and the rolls you probably want to hunt down:

Rangefinder/Iron Reach – Want to turn your sidearm into a hand cannon? Then this is the roll for you, and the one I’m currently trying to pack down. We rarely see these perks together, so it’s time to take advantage.

Rapid Hit or Rangefinder/Eye of the Storm – This is for all your dueling needs, as you will get more stability on hit and then more accuracy as your health gets lower in heated battles.

Subsistence/Frenzy – I guess if there is a PvE roll for this thing, it would probably be this, but I think there are probably better sidearm options for that slot.

Rangefinder/Under-Over – This is a brand new perk that does more damage to overshield’s and shields and honestly, I have found it to be at least somewhat useful, and probably will be more so once everyone is off arc. Void gives overshields all the time, and it works on things like Warlock overshields from Rifts or Titans from One-Eyed Mask.

Roar of the Bear (Solar Rocket Launcher)

Tracking Module/Lasting Impression - Legendary rocket launches aren’t exactly the most meta right now outside of maybe a crafted Palmyra-B, but you could do worse than this combo after the high-impact damage buff a while back.

Field Prep/Autoloading – This is a kind of interesting combo considering you usually see these two in the same slot. More reserves in total plus autoloading isn’t bad, though you are negating the crouch reload speed, of course, and you don’t have a damage perk. Still, unique.

Tracking Module or Impulse Amplifier/Vorpal – For your basic boss damage needs, I suppose. This thing can also roll Incandescent but I fail to see how that is useful on a rocket launcher that will probably just be blowing everything up in Incandescent range. Overall, I’m not too excited about this thing.

Those are the two reprised ones, and the old god rolls of the other weapons are still alive and kicking, if you want to go for those as well. Maybe next season we’ll get some actual new ones and a new armor set to boot. Until then, farm away.
